back Boston : hacking collaborative research

by admin for Uncategorized Leave a comment

On 14th September, just a day before the Medicine 2.0 Conference, we presented the Lumos! platform at the HealthCamp in Boston.

For this presentation we focused on the problems of the low response rates and the small amount of data, which may derive from the lack of coordination, the workload of the physicians, the burnout and the restricted time of medical consultations (Family Physicians in many countries of Europe examine one patient every 6-10 minutes; just consider how difficult it is to carry out a research project in this context). During HealthCamp, we talked about some features that we are currently exploring, such as the integration with social networks and the tailoring of the research experience.
